MyDeathSpace.com started in the summer of 2005 as a simple message board that tracked the deaths of MySpace members. This morbid, yet touching site has grown since then to become a website of substance – it’s not as big as MySpace, naturally, but it’s on the up. That may not be a good thing, of course. What struck me most about this unusual site was how young so many of the deceased are – the oldest victim currently on the ‘latest deaths’ page is just 26.
There is even MyDeathSpace merchandise, available to buy through the site, including MDS wristbands (death is the new black, it seems) and button badges.
