Digital Radio… DAB thingies… um… whatever you think of them, you’re going to need one soon. Obviously, some digital radios are just not worth their price-tag… I mean, who really listens to the radio now? Well, should you want to dip your toe into the world of DAB then Perstel have the brilliant BlueNote on the market which sells for under £40.

For your money, you don’t get the trimmings, but if you just want a portable DAB (maybe for sticking on your ear at the footy) then that won’t be much of an issue. It’s timy small at 60 x 84 x 24mm and weighing in at 80g and has a full graphic panel LCD with backlight for station information and a battery life of 6 hours.

Shipped with headphones and an initial set of batteries, it’s available to buy for just £39.
