‘Love’ was conceived by legendary Beatles producer George Martin
(and son Giles) as a stageshow soundtrack to Cirque de Soleil’s Las Vegas
spectacular of the same name. It’s essentially a mash-up (or audio collage, for those of you too old to know what a mash-up is) of some of the best Beatles tracks – I Am The Walrus, Tomorrow Never Knows, Here Comes The Sun, Blackbird etc. – but totally remastered, so they sound ace.
Listening to ‘Love’ is like hearing The Beatles with new ears, and it’s somehow very festive too. BUY IT
