Any album that gets one star in The Guardian has to be worth a listen – I mean, the paper can’t even get their name right, calling them The Klaxons (just Klaxons, guys – nice research). What, the backlash has begun even before their first long-player hits stores? At least give them their 15 minutes. Actually, behind all the ‘nu-rave’ PR bullshit, Klaxons obviously have the talent for more than 15 minutes of NME fame. ‘Myths’ (did Rick Wakeman dream up that title?) is all good fun, loud and raw and energetic and all over the shop, on the surface anyway. BUY IT
Check out Klaxons’ website, where you can create your own cover artwork for the album.
