I love these new Ted Baker "Crabby" shoes (£35), looking like something Dickie Greenleaf, from the The Talented Mr. Ripley, would wear while schmoozing around his Italian Villa.

It would actually be nice to see late ’50s European fashion make a bit of a come back, with wide collared, taper-cut shirts and some of the sharpest Summer suits not seen since then. If you can get a vintage polo from that era, combine with a  pair of short shorts for that original Riviera-set look.
