If you’re a hefty pie-scoffer like me, then slipping on a pair of these isn’t going to help you attain glory in the 800 metres, but they will make your pudgy clod-hoppers look damn cool.

Something to do with being able to insert weights into the sole. Not sure if I see the point in that – wouldn’t it slow you down?
