It seems like perforated detail on footwear is rather in vogue this season, with Onitsuka and Aldo, amongst others, all featuring tiny holes on their uppers. The latest shoes that I’ve found fitting the bill are these Tretorn Strand loafers (£75), made in white leather and covered in pin pricks.
Perfect for the seafront, "strand" meaning beach in Swedish, these Tretorns are also smart enough for a pair of light grey trousers as well as a pair of shorts. Just don’t wear them with boardies, something on or above the knee in plain and neutral colours should suffice.
