I love Topman’s take on a classic-pattern check. For me it’s all about the primary red and blue check-combo and the placket detail that features an alternated check pattern which offsets the rest of the shirt nicely.

This would look fantastic with a grey, wide-necked cardigan such as this one by Tipped Edge (£25) and a pair of washed-out jeans. Alternatively, wear it open with a rockin’ tee. The Lady Luck from Eio would be ideal, and is a bargain, having been reduced from £25 to £15.
