I covered Design By Humans a little while ago on Brandish and commented on how many of their designs were of a higher calibre than you average reader-submitted t-shirt website. Little has changed, except they’ve got even better, and expanded the number of tees available on the website. Threadless really are getting a run for their money.
Compounding this, DBH have just announced their first $5000 prize winner, a sum awarded to the designer whose has shifted the largest number of tees. The winning design was the awesome Robot Attacks ($19) tee, which is actually a collaboration of about 20 artists, each submitting a drawing of a robot that was used in the final product and thus sharing the cash.
Suddenly that prize money doesn’t seem so attractive afterall…
