As you should already know from keeping up with your only source for fashion news and (that’s Brandish, if ya didn’t realise it), trench coats are back in. We featured a couple of the more impressive looking coats over the last few weeks, including a scary one, a fascist one and a musical one. Generally however, trench coats are pretty standard and even a bit, dare I speak out against a trend, boring.

"Boring", however, isn’t a word you could use to describe Topman’s bright red trench coat (£65). "Garish" and "disgusting" are two words that you could use. The phrase "only to be worn by colour-blind flashers" could also be used in conjunction with this garment.

But that’s just my opinion. Despite my belief that it looks like a prop from freaky thriller Don’t Look Now, you might see the coat in a wrong different way. Let us know what you think.
