I do like these puppies. They look a bit like a cross between the Visvim moccasins and a Nike Blazer. They come in a range of delightful colours including this shade of burgundy which makes me think of mulled wine, but that’s clearly just the excesses of this time of year. Honestly, I’m looking forward to the January detox – if I don’t become diabetic and lapse into a hyperglycaemic coma before then.
Anyway, these shoes are from Pointer, a home-grown trainer brand who specialise in simple alternatives to the “increasingly technical trainers and hyped-up limited edition sneakers” on the market. Sniffy buggers. Still, they’ve got a point, in this case less is more.
