A Reebok collaboration with Kanye West seems to have slipped under the radar. Released as part of Jay-Z’s S. Carter collaboration, the range was released with no fanfare and not even a press release. It is only available from one store – Sportie LA in Los Angeles – and according to The Shoe Game, it was shipped to them out of the blue.
So why so cloak and dagger Reebok? Could it be because they are butters? Could it be because they bear (geddit? “bear”) more than a passing resemblance to Bathing Ape sneakers? Who knows. Suffice to say they’ll be hugely collectable for Kanye fanatics, but probably no-one else.
