L’Uomo Vogue February 2008- Casey Affleck

Lumo1When I woke up this morning and sat down at my screen, I was confronted with the unsettlingly sad news of Tim leaving (is that fair for someone to have to deal with at such a vulnerable time of the day? – okay, it was 11:30.) As a result I was thrown into a mental retrospective of my short time at Brandish. The posts, the e-mails, the endless questions (sorry Isabelle!) and particularly the instance in which Tim edited a photo for me and sent it back to my grease-stained, holiday-rented and ancient computer even though I was a) in Tenerife and b) a complete stranger to him (Thanks Tim.) As part of this smile-inducing recall, I thought of one of my posts on L’Uomo Vogue. So later, when I was ‘surfing the web’ and found that Casey Affleck is on their latest ‘Hollywood Issue,’ I thought it was worth a post.

This looks amazing and with stars from Javier Bardem to Quentin Tarantino, you just have to look after the jump for more information and pics.

Luomo2Okay so as well as the talent of Casey, Javier and Quentin, we have an unbelievable list of stars (most male!) including Daniel Day-Lewis, Vanessa Redgrave, John C. Reilly, Marianne Faithfull, Viggo Mortensen, Daniel Craig, Dominic Purcell, Marion Cotillard, Mike Vogel, Samuel L. Jackson, Ray Liott, Michael Stipe and Thomas Haden Church. Features range from 10 pages (Casey Affleck,) 8 pages (Quentin Tarantino,) 6 pages (Daniel Craig) and 4 pages for the likes of Michael Stipe.

For some with a desire to walk the endless red carpets, stare the light-bulbs cold and make the tearful speech- this is the closest we will ever come to the Oscars.
