At Radio 1’s Big Weekend this weekend, the line-up was that of a rather well-dressed bunch of bands. Madonna excluded. Looking at the photos from this Maidstone extravaganza of fun and frolicking, Irwin Sparks of The Hoosiers stood out as a Brandish-reading sartorialist. He has obviously caught on to our nautical debate and performed in a striped polo and chinos. Also interesting was the appearance (as in attendance not attire) of Usher who wore a Burberry-inspired leather jacket with oversized studs on top of a black vest (see Dan Gillespie of The Feeling.)
