Set to the background of a recording studio, it certainly doesn’t seem too much of a stretch for the pop star. Photographed by Tom Munro, the black-and-white ads, for the label’s new men’s fragrance Play!, show JT looking right at home listening to some tunes, and chilling on a private jet, in the latest Givenchy threads no less. Yesterday, the Sexyback singer attended a presentation of his new campaign at Paris during menswear fashion week.
But does JT really fit the brand? Or is this just another sell-out celebrity-endorsed tactic used by a high-end label to increase mass market appeal? What do you think?
