Manchester City defender heading to Liverpool?

Manchester City defender Micah Richards would appear to be leaving the club this summer after the new arrival of former Arsenal right back Bakary Sagna.

Richards who has been capped for England has found it near impossible to break into the first team with Argentinian Pablo Zabaleta in-front of him, occupying the position. Now with Frenchman Sagna joining the situation, it seems Richards is on his way out of the Etihad. Restricted to only 9 appearances last season, Richards is lacking in first-team football, a place he needs to be if he wants to be on the international agenda again.

A surprise destination that Richards may find himself at is Anfield. Brendan Rodgers is said to be interested in a new full-back as cover for Glenn Johnson and Jon Flanagan. The breed of English talent at Liverpool is one to admire from Rodgers who has signed a number of England players who have gone on to make a name for themselves. If Richards was to sign for the Reds, could he find himself back in the fold with the England squad?

Liverpool fans, would you welcome Richards to the club?
