Tottenham are closing in on their third signing of the transfer window. Spurs have already lured in Swansea duo Michel Vorm and Ben Davies and they now look set to add Eric Dier to their collection.
The England U-21 has rejected a new contract at Sporting Lisbon has he edges closer to a move to Tottenham. According to the Telegraph, Dier is set to complete a £4m move to the London side .
The English born midfielder, moved to Portugal when he was 10-years-old and was signed up by Sporting and has been there since. He did move to the Premier League on loan with Everton for a short loan and duly returned to Sporting making 30 senior appearances for the Portuguese outfit.
The young defender rejected the chance to play for Portugal and is an England U-21 international but is now ready to ply his trade in the Premier League. Pochettino looks set to make Dier his third summer signing.
