Reports from Italy this morning have suggested that long term target, Arturo Vidal has passed a medical at Manchester United this morning, according to The Daily Star.
The Juventus star has been labelled as a superstar and a host of European clubs have been frantically trying to bring in the Chilean, however, it now appears that United are closing in on their man.
Brandished with a £47m price tag, Louis Van Gaal seems ready to pay whatever the price to bring in quality to his very fragmented side.
Vidal has shown his quality and performed on the world stage for Chile in Brazil during the World Cup. He was one of a number of stand out performers for his country who helped Chile prove themselves.
A deal that would surpass Juan Mata’s last season, Vidal is also reportedly set to be on a whopping, £120k a week at United and will be regarded as a key first team player.
Also poised to wear the coveted number 7 shirt at Old Trafford, it appears everything is set up for the arrival of Arturo Vidal at Manchester United.
All that can be done now is to wait and see.
