Former Fulham captain and defender, Brede Hangeland is on the verge of joining Premier League side Crystal Palace according to reports from The Daily Mail.
The towering defender was released by relegated Fulham last season in over an email – not to the delight of the Norwegian. Hangeland now looks ready to make a comeback to the Premier League will Hull and Palace both eager to capture the 33-year-old.
Reports have suggested that Palace look the more likely to secure the services of the former Fulham man as he is prepared to partner Scott Dann in the heart of the defence.
Eager to stay in London, Palace manager Tony Pulis has persuaded Hangeland to join the Eagles and help them achieve Premier League status and a mid-table finish.
