It’s not wishful thinking to assume that Microsoft is working on its own smartwatch, but all we’ve seen so far are designs submitted to patent offices with no indication on when we might see the real thing. Luckily, some concept images of the windows smartwatch have been making their way round the web.
Created by designer Nadir Aslam, the concept shows off a watch with Microsoft’s Cortana built in, as well as going for the stylish options of having a circular watch face and a leather strap.
Sadly rumours so far indicate that Microsoft’s smartwatch is not likely to look like this, instead it’s supposed to be a fitness tracker similar to FitBit and Samsung’s Gear Fit. Features rumoured to be included are GPS, a heart rate monitor, a gyroscope, an accelerometer, as well as a galvanic skin response sensor that measure sweat.
This is all rumour, but we should expect to hear more as time goes on. [Phone Arena]
