Liverpool are reported to be chasing Colombian forward Radamel Falcao according to journalist Mina Rzouki. However, The Guardian are led to believe that Real Madrid are the most likely club to secure the player ahead of the Reds and Manchester City.
Brendan Rodgers is understood to have made an enquiry into the Monaco striker as a replacement for Luis Suarez who moved to Barcelona this summer. Falcao missed the 2014 World Cup because of injury but is a goalscorer with 136 career league goals in 224 career league games.
Real Madrid will be confident that James Rodriguez, a fellow Colombian who left Monaco for the Santiago Bernabéu already this window, can convince Falcao to join him. Falcao of course played for Madrid’s rivals Atlético for two seasons where he netted 52 times in 68 La Liga appearances.
Manchester City are thought to be furthest behind in negotiations for the 28 year old striker but with Liverpool also on his list of possible destinations Monaco and the player’s agent will be looking forward to a bidding war to begin.
Where will Radamel Falcao’s destination be next season? Monaco, Mancester City, Liverpool or Real Madrid? All are worthy clubs but only one will own his services… Where do you reckon?
