Arsenals brilliant performance yesterday encapsulated that they are no pushovers. Arsene Wenger has done some fine tuning on his Gunners side and they look to be red hot just in time for the start of the season.
Goals from Cazorla, Ramsey and Giroud capped a telling display from the London side as they brushed aside the Premier League Champions at Wembley.
Intricate football and back to their best – that was what was on show as Arsenal showcased sublime football to compliment their new jersey.
New signings, Debuchy, Chambers and Sanzhez all got to show their worth during the final and it was a perfect performance from Wengers men.
The Frenchman has brought brilliantly this summer. Talent and hunger – two characteristics in which Wenger is buying into at the moment. As well as that, Arsenal are finally getting a balance and depth to their squad which they haven’t had in many years.
A quick look at yesterday’s bench see’s the likes of: Rosicky, Giroud, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Monreal, Flamini, Campbell and Martinez. Quality and substance, something that Arsenal have been lacking in previous years. As the Premier League season looms, Arsenal will be tipping themselves as contenders for the title race.
Can Wenger’s men finally get their hands on the trophy?
