Specs for the Windows Phone HTC One leak

We know that the much loved HTC One M8 will be gracing the Windows Phone platform at sometime in the near future, but aside from seeing some pictures (which were no different to the original HTC One M8) we haven’t heard very much about it. Well now the folks at WP Central claim to have come across the phone’s specs.

So what’s in it? You may recall that the original, Android, HTC One M8 came with a 5-inch 1080p display, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, microSD expansion up to 128GB,  a 2.3GHz Snapdragon 801 processor, and a 2,600 mAh battery. The Windows Phone version’s specs are rumoured to be, erm, exactly the same.

In fact the only difference seems to be that the Windows Phone M8 is running Windows 8.1 rather than Android KitKat. So, there you are. It’s probably the same phone just with a different OS. How that’ll play out will be something we’ll just have to wait patiently for. [WP Central]
