Most people had given up on there being a larger version of the HTC One M8, then referred to as the HTC One M8 Prime. But, fortunately for those who hadn’t given up hope some of the hardware specs have leaked for what is being referred to as the HTC One M8 Max — HTC’s phablet based on the wildly successful One M8 handset.
All we know for now is that the device is supposed to come in the aluminium casing we’ve come to expect from HTC, with a Snapdragon 805 processor and a 5.5-inch screen which puts it firmly into the phablet territory. It’s also a nice step up from the original HTC One Max which only had a Snapdragon 600 processor.
For now this is all totally unconfirmed, so don’t go getting all excited just yet. However, if it is real we’ll likely be hearing more about it in the coming months, plus it would be nice to have an HTC One phablet wouldn’t it? [UberGizmo]
