We’ve been hearing about it for ages, with leak after leak giving us an idea of what to expect. Finally, the time has come and Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy Alpha to the world.

So what about those specs then? It’ll come with a 4.7-inch 720p AMOLED display, Samsung’s Exynos octo-core processor (that’s two quad-core processors — one 1.8GHz the other 13.GHz), 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a 1,860 mAh battery, 12MP and 2.1MP front and rear cameras, and a fingerprint scanner. All of this runs on Android 4.4.4 (KitKat).

There’s no word on price just yet, but the Galaxy Alpha will be available next month in a choice of black, white, gold, silver, or blue. [Samsung Tomorrow via SamMobile]
