La Liga winners and Champions League runners up Atletico Madrid are attempting to bring in Chelsea star Andre Schurrle to the Spanish capital this summer.
Schurrle who was a sensation for Germany at the World Cup was out to prove a point to club boss, Jose Mourinho, that he is worth it. After shelling out £18m on the German attacking midfielder, Schurrle has struggled to hold down a first team place at Stamford Bridge.
Today, reports from the Daily Mail have suggested that Atletico Madrid have opened talks with the midfielder about a potential move.
At 23-years-old, Schurrle is still young and has time on his hands to improve and prove his worth at Chelsea if he remains patient. However, it seems Atletico are ready to bring in the German to help bring back some balance after selling a handful of their key players.
Someone of Schurrles technical ability would shine in Spain and now the young man has a difficult decision to make, does he wait and bide his time at Chelsea to prove he is worth the wait; or, does he cut his losses and start again in Spain?
Chelsea fans, would you cash in or give the German a chance?
