Pilkington join Cardiff City from fellow relegated club Norwich City after seemingly falling out with Canaries boss Neil Adams. The wide man played 75 league games for Norwich and scored 14 goals and at 26 has a good amount of experience in the Football League.
Sean Morrison was brought in from Reading following the injury picked up by Cardiff centre half Ben Turner. The 23 year old is 6ft 4 in and has won admirers during his time at the Berkshire club. Sometimes criticised for lapses in concentration and his pace it will be interesting to see if he can be the man the Bluebirds need to bolster their defence and shot up the Championship table.
Morrison will wear the number 36 shirt and Pilkington the 19 shirt with both being eligible to face Huddersfield Town tomorrow afternoon in Cardiff. Ole Gunnar Solskjær has been busy this transfer window bringing in forwards Javi Guerra, Adam Le Fondre and Federico Macheda as well as Guido Burgstaller, Kagisho Dikgacoi, Charlie Horton and Tom Adeyemi. Since relegation in May they have lost Gary Medel, Jordon Mutch, Steven Caulker, Fraizer Campbell, Don Cowie and the retired Craig Bellamy.
