Arsenal look set to compete the loan signing of Chilean star, Eduardo Vargas from Napoli according to reports in Italy.
It is said that the two clubs are in advanced stages of the negotiations and a loan deal looks likely. With Alexis Sanchez also making the switch to the Emirates, it has encouraged Vargas to join his fellow countryman in the Premier League. The two linked up well during the 2014 Brazil World Cup and Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger is said to be an admirer of both players link play.
The 24-year-old Chilean was loaned out to Valencia last term and scored 6 time in 17 matches for the Spanish outfit. Blessed with pace and balance on the ball, Wenger sees Vargas as the ideal nippy striker who can work off the target man of either Sanogo or Giroud.
The reports from Italy suggest that any deal could be completed this week.
