Manchester United have just signed Radamel Falcao on loan from Monaco on a season long loan. A signing that will raise the eyebrows of football has a whole after United’s leaky defence seems to be the issue.
However, despite these limitations to the United squad; Louis Van Gaal has brought in Colombian striker Radamel Falcao to United. This deal does therefore raise further speculation with United’s new formation, with Van Perise, Rooney, Falcao, Mata and Di Maria all fighting for starting places, surely there is no space for three strikers to start at Old Trafford?
Could Van Persie’s days be numbered?
31 years old and hampered by injuries, is it time to cash in for Van Persie? Van Gaal has criticised Van Persie in his days in charge of the Netherlands and with the addition of Falcao, could the Dutchman be off?
If Van Persie were to leave, where would he go?
Arsenal have a vacancy. Olivier Giroud is out injured until the new year and with just Yaya Sanogo and Joel Campbell as their only recognised strikers, the Gunners will be wanting an experienced goal scorer.
Who better than former Gunner, Robin Van Persie?
Could this be a viable deal? Who knows, it’s transfer deadline day.
