Liverpool and Chelsea are both preparing bids for German U19 international Julian Brandt. The Daily Mirror indicate that both teams have sent scouts to check out Brandt who plays as an attacking midfielder.
Julian Brandt is highly rated across Europe and to those who play video games such as the FIFA series. He made his Bayer Leverkusen Bundesliga debut in February 2014 after joining the club in December 2013 from Wolfsburg. Brandt also has UEFA Champions League experience and at 18-year-old has a fantastic career ahead of him.
With 14 Bundesliga games under his belt and 14 German U19 internationals too, the youngster is still fairly inexperienced at the highest level meaning any deal would be with the future in mind.
José Mourinho and Brendan Rodgers will have to be prepared to pay a high fee for the German’s services who has a contract until June 2019 at the BayArena.
