Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is speculated to be leaving the Etihad after revealing he has yet to be offered a new contract.
The England number one goalkeeper is keen to continue in the Premier League and Liverpool have emereged as potential suitors to take on the 27-year-old.
The Metro reported, “Anything about a new contract is news to me,” Hart said.
“I’ve heard nothing. I’ve got a year, nearly two years, left on my deal. That is all I am aware of.”
Liverpool have been said to be monitoring the performances of Hart for some time now; with Simon Mignolet’s recent performances unable to set the world alight; the Belgian has been heavily criticised in recent weeks.
Manager Brendan Rodgers is said to be looking for a new keeper to push Mignolet for a start as Brad Jones currently occupies the bench as Liverpool’s second choice goalkeeper.
Should Liverpool look to sign Hart in January or the summer?
