Former Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal defender, William Gallas has finally called time on his playing days and hung up his boots after a stand out career.

The 37-year-old won 2 Premier League titles with Chelsea in 2005 and 2006. The French defender moved to the Premier League with Chelsea in 2001 from Marseille and enjoyed a successful spell at Stamford Bridge. Gallas then went on to Arsenal where he won over 100 caps for the Gunners before making the brave move to London rivals Tottenham.

Gallas struggled to hold down a first team place at White Hart Lane and was released in 2013 where he moved “down under” and joined Perth Glory.

The Frenchman enjoyed a season with the Australian outfit before calling time on his glistening career where he finished with 85 caps for his country.

A solid defender who exuded passion and heart in every game he played, William Gallas will be considered one of the Premier League’s best defenders.
