Chelsea star striker Diego Costa has been hospitalised after suffering a stomach bug according to Sky Sports.
The Spaniard has also been nursing a hamstring injury which has kept him out of Chelsea’s last two matches after aggravating the injury whilst on duty with Spain.
Costa has since been released from hospital after complaining of his illness which is believed to be just a stomach bug. The 26-year-old fell ill a couple of days ago and was hospitalised as a precaution.
He has since been discharged and there is potential he may be involved on Saturday. However, it would appear to soon for Costa who is just recovering from his hamstring injury let alone illness.
A huge blow for the Blues who are set to also be without Loic Remy for the United game, meaning Didier Drogba is set to start against Chelsea’s rivals.
