5 own goals in one game, a fate that Richard Dunne could only dream of! However, it seems there was something suspicious going on between Indonesian sides PSS Sleman and PSIS Semarang in their country’s first division play-offs.
Sleman won the game 3-2, but, both teams have been disqualified because a committee panel said that both sides tried to lose the game because they did not want to play in the next round against Boreno FC, a team rumoured to be backed by the local mafia.
With the game scoreless at 84 minutes, the two teams decided to take fate into their own hands as both teams tried to score more own goals than their opponent in what were bizarre scenes.
