Crystal Palace are eyeing up a £5m bid for Celtic captain, Scott Brown according to reports from the Scotsman.
The Celtic captain, now 29-years-old has plied his trade in Scotland for his whole career. Brown started his career at Hibernian before making the illustrious move to Scottish giants, Celtic in 2007. His passion and desire on and off the field led Brown to the captaincy role at the club.
A centre midfielder who thrives off a battle, Brown has excellent technical ability to run the middle of the park. A player whom fans will never want to leave Celtic Park, Brown may be tempted with a move to the Premier League. A chance not many can refuse.
Palace are the club said to be interested in the midfielder and after securing former Celtic midfielder, Joe Ledley, Brown may be more open to a move South. Brown has a wealth of experience, playing in the Scottish leagues and European competitions, he would be a real asset to Palace should he join.
