The original Playstation is a good 20 years old at this point, and it makes sense that the games are capable of running on our smart devices with almost no problems. What is cool is that they can also be played on something as small as a smartwatch.
EpicLPer, the same user who managed to get Windows 95 running on a Gear Live, has managed to get Croc: Legend of the Gobbos running on an LG G Watch running Android Wear using the ePSXe emulator. Aside from a few issues with the touchscreen controls on such a small display the game runs perfectly.
EpicLPer also said that he had issues connecting his gamepad to the watch but noted that it could be because it’s a ‘cheap China copy’, but notes that a Moga gamepad is supposed to work with Android Wear devices. Considering the small screen it’s likely that a controller would be incredibly useful.
