Manchester United want-a-way midfielder, Anderson is said to be closing on a move away from the Premier League side in January after suggesting he has his hopes set on a move back to Brazil.
The Brazilian joined Manchester United from Porto in 2007 for a reported fee of around £20m. Anderson has since made 181 appearances for the Red Devils but has struggled to make a major impact despite the large fee attached to the player. Scoring just 9 goals in those games, Anderson underwhelmed the home side and has since struggled to fit in at United.
Deemed surplus to requirements under new manager, Louis Van Gaal, Anderson has just made 2 appearances so far this season, one coming against MK Dons in the Capital One Cup where United were thrashed 4-0 by the League One side. The Daily Star reported that Anderson now has his sights set on a return to his home nation of Brazil and in particular, Gremio.
