Paul Pogba, regarded as one of the most wanted midfielder’s in the game. When the Frenchman left Manchester United, it wasn’t seen as a poor piece of business, not until now, seeing Pogba dominate Serie A with Juventus. The midfielder has been a sensation for the Italian champions.
However, it has been revealed that a Premier League manager tried to snap up Pogba after he left United, that man, Arsene Wenger.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Wenger revealed, “As a footballer, he (Pogba) has everything. It is difficult to figure out what he doesn’t have.
Things happened very quickly. We were interested in him. We tried to get him to come here. But he very quickly signed for Juventus. He has the potential to win the Ballon d’Or.”
Arsenal fans will imagine what could have been had Pogba arrived at the Emirates. The 21-year-old has a wealth of experience already despite his youth. The former United man already has 21 caps for France and two Serie A titles with Juventus. He also picked up the Best Young Player award at this summer’s World Cup in Brazil.
A player who has been labelled as one of the worlds biggest talents, can Pogba reach his potential?
