Arsenal are set to be busy in the January transfer window if the rumours are to be believed. Arsene Wenger’s midfield needs bolstering and the Daily Express understand their hunt for Grzegorz Krychowiak is now under treat from new Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini.

Arsenal look like they may have missed out on Real Madrid’s Sami Khedira after their summer move for the German collapsed due to wage demands, but now the Gunners will begin to stress about losing the Pole too. It was understood that Arsenal were ready to bid £24m for the Sevilla 24-year-old to make sure their swoop is successful and the club’s management don’t incur the wrath of disgruntled fans.

Grzegorz Krychowiak only joined Sevilla in July 2014 for a minimal fee of €4.5m. He has scored once in La Liga during his 12 matches this season and also was runner-up in the UEFA Super Cup in Cardiff against Champions League winners Real Madrid. Krychowiak began his professional career with Bordeaux in France and with loan spells at Reims and Nantes he finally joined Reims permanently in 2012 who had earned promotion to Ligue 1.

Krychowiak, who has been capped 23 times by Poland, played 70 league matches for Reims before being purchased by Sevilla but now a massive Premier League move is on the cards. With Borussia Dortmund also circling as well as Inter Milan it seems he will have a number of decisions to make come the New Year.

Arsenal fans, do you want Krychowiak?!
