Arsenal and Manchester are both said to be tracking the progress of Scottish defender, Andrew Robertson. The full back made just 8 starts at Dundee United before his potential was realised by Premier League outfit, Hull City. Robertson cost a pittance at just under £3m but his current value will have rocketed after some outstanding performances for club and country.
According to the Express, Robertson could be off in January despite only joining the Tigers in the summer. Interested duo, Arsenal and Manchester United are closely monitoring the situation regarding Robertson and both are ready to launch bids in the region of £12m in the new year.
Hull boss, Steve Bruce has revealed there is interest in the 20-year-old already, “There has already been one or two with phone calls asking ‘to keep me informed’. That’s always the first stage.
“I had it with Palacios when I was at Wigan and then Valencia when he went off to Man Utd. And if this kid keeps performing the way he is then it might become inevitable.
“I spoke to Gordon about him in the summer. He threw him in against Nigeria for his first cap. He took to it like a duck to water, and he has done exactly the same when offered the challenge with us.”
