Sunderland, Aston Villa and QPR have all struggled so far in the Premier League, sitting in 14th, 12th and 19th respectively. Goals have been an issue for some but the Daily Mirror believe Giampaolo Pazzini could be the man to solve it with all three clubs interested.
Pazzini is 30-years-old and joined current club AC Milan in August 2012 for €7.5m and Antonio Cassano. He joined from rivals Inter Milan and has since scored 17 times in 51 Serie A matches. However Pazzini is now out of favour and it seems Milan are willing to offload their Italian on loan in January.
Pazzini began his career in the youth academy of Atalanta and went on to score 12 goals in 51 league fixtures for the club. Then in 2005 he attracted the interest of Fiorentina who purchased him for €6m. At Fiorentina he netted 25 times in 108 league matches before a spell with Sampdoria for whom his record was better, 36 in 75. Pazzini got his big Serie A chance with Inter Milan in January 2011 for whom he scored 16 goals in 50 league ties.
The striker is now willing to move outside Italy for the first time in his career with the Premier League his favoured destination. The questions remains though if Sunderland, Aston Villa or QPR can do a deal for the 25 time capped international.
