Hull City have been dealt a hammer blow ahead of a busy period in the Premier League. Star midfielder, Mohamed Diame has been ruled out of action for up to three weeks after sustaining a knee injury.
Diame joined the Tigers on deadline day in the summer for £3.5m and has bagged 4 goals in 10 games, 1 of which came against his former club, West Ham.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Bruce said: “He has got a problem to the tendon in his knee and it’s been bothering him for the last two to three weeks.
“He had another scan yesterday (Thursday) and the treatment will be done today.
“But we have got be patient with it because it’s one of those where we have to let it settle and not let it flare.
“We hope that he’s going to be involved over Christmas but at the moment it’s going to be at leat two to three weeks to let it settle down and see if we can get him fit again.”
Diame has been a revelation for Hull City since joining, will they be able to cope without him?
