QPR are rumoured to be interested in MLS’s MPV, Robbie Keane, according to the Standard.
The Republic of Ireland striker has been in impeccable form with American side, L.A. Galaxy and is whetting the appetite of QPR boss Harry Redknapp. The Rangers manager knows Keane well with his time at Spurs and is ready to bring in the striker in January.
Speaking to the media about the idea of a move for Keane, Redknapp said, “The MLS market is one that we’ve got to look at. Robbie’s a good shout – he’s a good pro,” Redknapp said.
“He would be the ideal type to have around for sure because he would give us something. I haven’t spoken to him yet, but he would be an interesting player.”
With Redknapp happy to admit his admiration for Keane and single him out as an “ideal” player, could QPR be ready to bring in the 34-year-old?
