Debt ridden Atletico Madrid are said to be very interested in brining back former striker, Fernando Torres to Spain., however, they want him for free.
According to the Daily Mail, La Liga champions, Atletico Madrid are rumoured to be interested in bringing Torres back to the Vicente Calderón Stadium. However, with the £404m debts against their name, they have issued Chelsea merely give them Torres.
The Spaniard is currently on loan at A.C. Milan but is struggling to settle, a return to former club Atletico could be the perfect solution for the Chelsea striker who is looking to re-kindle his goalscoring form once again.
Atletico may look to offload Alessio Cerci in the January window to pave a way for Torres arrival. The 27-year-old Italian forward has made just five appearances following his £13m move from Torino in the summer and is keen to return to Italy with Inter Milan although Arsenal have also made enquiries.
Torres has struggled since his £50m move to Chelsea, does he just need familiarity to be successful once again?
