Ravel Morrison is the maverick talent whose career is unfortunately collapsing around him. The talent was sent back to West Ham by loan club Cardiff City and it seems manager Sam Allardyce wants nothing to do with him. However QPR boss Harry Redknapp could be set to rescue the midfielder.

21-year-old Ravel Morrison began his professional life with Manchester United in their youth system. Morrison graduated the academy but despite high praise from Sir Alex Ferguson he failed to impressive at Old Trafford because of his endless personal problems and issues. He was sold to West Ham United in January 2012 to try and get his career back on track.

The attack minded midfielder played once in the Championship for West Ham United before spending the 2012/13 campaign on loan at Birmingham City. He played 27 times but failed to impress the St Andrew’s hierarchy who criticised the youngster. Upon his return to West Ham last season, Morrison played 16 Premier League matches, showing his talents but would be shipped out to QPR for the back end of the campaign.

Morrison got on well with Harry Redknapp and since being told by Cardiff City and West Ham that he doesn’t have a place at their club, it seems QPR want him again. Redknapp said: “I like Ravel. He came last year and I didn’t have any problems with him.”

Redknapp continued: “He is a good kid and his ability is just amazing. We can’t buy anybody, we are looking at a few loans that can help the team, help the squad. He is one that someone has mentioned to me and he is one we could be interested in – if West Ham want to release him.”

West Ham fans, do you want Ravel Morrison to leave the club? QPR fans, do you want to sign him?
