Everton boss, Roberto Martinez has made his thoughts quite clear on the situation regarding, Ross Barkley’s future at the club.
The 21-year-old has been receiving attention from Premier League duo, Manchester City and Chelsea in recent months, but Martinez insists no-one will be leaving in January, including Barkley.
“All our best performers, even if they get lots of attention, no one is going to be going,” said Martinez.
“As you can imagine, this January window for us is vital and we will concentrate on recapturing our best form and start building a good momentum,” said Martinez.
“I really enjoy watching Ross, the way he develops on a daily basis and performs. You will always pay a good entrance fee to watch someone like him enjoying his football.”
Ross Barkley is beginning to blossom into a spectacular player. However, with Everton’s dip in form, will Barkley be looking at the speculation surrounding his name and be holding out for a move to a bigger club?
