West Bromwich Albion appointed the highly sought after Tony Pulis as manager to replace the outgoing Alan Irvine. Now Tony Pulis has his sites set on revamping his West Brom squad meaning according to the Daily Mirror he is willing to sell on his talisman Saido Berahino.

Saido Berahino was born in Burundi but moved to the UK at the age of 10 and was spotted by West Bromwich Albion. Berahino graduated the club’s youth academy via loan spells with Northampton Town, Brentford and Peterborough United. In 2013/14 Berahino established himself as an important forward for West Brom with 32 Premier League showings, scoring 5 times.

Now 21-yeaes-old, Berahino showed his quality at the beginning of this campaign as he netted 8 goals but with 20 appearances in the Premier League that goal rate has slowed down. Despite this, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur both want the England Under-21 starlet who has a fantastic future ahead of him. With West Brom prepared to negotiate, what deal will be thrashed out?

Berahino could be used as a makeweight as Tony Pulis prepares to target Tottenham Hotspur midfielders Andros Townsend and Aaron Lennon. With 13 goals in all competitions, Berahino would certainly add something to Spurs’ front line but fans will perhaps question the signing, particularly as West Brom put on hold any contract talks with the youngster.

Tottenham fans do you want to trade Berahino for Townsend and Lennon? West Brom fans will you be sad to let your talisman go?
