Leicester City are ready to splash the cash and break their transfer record in order to sign Croatian striker, Andrej Kramaric.
The £9m deal would exceed Leicester’s former transfer record which they set in the summer when snapping up Brighton Hove Albion striker, Leonardo Ulloa, should a work permit be agreed.
The 23-year-old Croat had been of interest to Chelsea in the past which signifies his capabilities as a striker. If Leicester can agree a deal for the FC Rijeka man, then the Foxes will have a powerful striking force to enter the new year with.
Despite being bottom of the league, Kramaric sees his future at the Foxes as his club released a statement insisting a deal was nearly agreed according to BBC Sport.
