Manchester City defender, Matija Nastasic is ready to depart the Etihad and look for pastures new with Bundesliga side, Schalke interested in the Serbian according to Sky Sports.
Nastastic has found life hard this season with just the solitary appearance for the Citizens, coming against Arsenal in the Community Shield at Wembley.
Nastasic’s move could be either be on loan or a permanent transfer, with the deal likely to take place in this month’s transfer window.
The Serbia international, joined City from Fiorentina for £16m in 2012, has fallen out of favour with boss Manuel Pellegrini and has been told he can leave the club after the signings of Martin Demichelis, Eliaquim Mangala and Bacary Sagna.
