One Neil out and another one in?

Hamilton Academical manager, Alex Neil has been in Norwich to talk to the City board over a possible move to Carrow Road.

Hamilton vice-chairman, Ronnie Macdonald told the Pink’un “Further to an official approach by Norwich City, permission was granted for our manager Alex Neil to meet the Norwich board.”

A relatively unknown entity amongst City fans, there has been much debate as to whether the appointment (should it be made) it brilliant or barmy?

None can qualm Neil’s form under Hamilton, leading his side to the top of the SPL and a win over Celtic is no mean feat. Not forgetting at one stage his side had the best defence record in the division. Is this the sort of manager Norwich are in need of? Strong minded, a young manager, relateable and determined; is Neil the perfect option for Norwich City?

At just 33-years-old, Neil will be of the same age as the likes of Carlos Cuellar and Wes Hoolahan; if the manager can deal with that sort of mindset, then so can the players.

Just look at Garry Monk, a perfect example that age isn’t everything.

Will the Canaries get the right Neil?
